Agamlok Agamlok Basera Retreat( East Sikkim )
The Bassera Retreat is located in a small Sherpa village on the eastern part of Sikkim, serving as the gateway to the Old Silk Route. It is a recent addition to the charming Sikkimese villages, offering breathtaking views of the Singalila range, as well as the mountains of Bhutan and Tibet. This destination is truly a gem for travelers seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Guests can relish the picturesque views of the Zig-Zag way and Lungthu from the balcony of The Bassera Resort. In the evening, they can take a leisurely walk or hike to the sunset point and indulge in local organic bamboo drinks, campfires, and barbecues at Agamlok. Upon prior request, we can also arrange a local dance program for our guests' entertainment. For early risers, we recommend trekking to the Agamlok monastery in the morning. From the grounds of the monastery, visitors can explore Kanchenjungha, Tsomgo, and Lungthu.

নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি বা বাগডোগরা থেকে আসা রেশম পথের যাত্রীরা চলে আসুন আগমলোক-এ। জায়গাটি আপার লিংতামে। এখান থেকে সিঙ্গালিলা রেঞ্জ, ভুটান পাহাড় সমেত নীচের (লিংতাম অঞ্চলের) সবুজ উপত্যকার ছবি মুগ্ধ করবে। আগমলোক মনাস্ট্রিটি খুব একটা বড় নয়। কিন্তু চারপাশের পরিবেশ খুব সুন্দর। এখানকার সানরাইজ পয়েন্ট থেকে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা, কাবরু, রাথং সমেত অন্যান্য তুষারশৃঙ্গের দৃশ্য অসাধারণ। আগমলোকে রাত্রিবাস করে, পরদিন সকালে সানরাইজ পয়েন্ট থেকে তুষারশৃঙ্গে রঙের খেলা দেখে গাড়ি নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়ুন সিল্করুট ভ্রমণে। লিংতামের উচ্চতা (৪৫০০ ফুট) বেশ কম বলে, রেশমপথে যাওয়ার আগের রাতটা আপার লিংতাম অর্থাৎ আগমলোক-এ কাটানোটাই শ্রেয়। খুব মারাত্মক উচ্চতার নয় (৭০০০ ফুট) যে উচ্চতাজনিত অসুবিধা হবে, চারপাশের প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্যাবলীও সুন্দর, আবার অধিক উচ্চতায় যাওয়ার আগে শরীরকে একটু সইয়ে নেওয়াও যাবে। তা ছাড়া গিজার ও অন্যান্য অত্যাবশ্যকীয় সুবিধাসহ রাত্রিবাস আরামদায়ক হলে, পরদিন রেশমপথ সফর আনন্দদায়ক হওয়ার সম্ভাবনাই বেশি।

Basera Retreat Agamlok is immersed in various colours of wild blooms between August and September. The entire landscape is covered in various wildflowers. Zuluk is blanketed in snow from January through April. While the windy months of May to July are typically foggy.
